Custom Handmade Knives Made in the USA.

All the knives I make are are of high quality, High Carbon Steels. The handle materials are made from Hardwoods, Micarta, G10 or Paracord.

I have posted videos  here and on my YouTube Channel showing you the processes of my knife making.

I use the stock removal method, I take bar stock steel and grind it into a blank then grind a convex edge.

All the knives I make are designed here in my little shop in New York City. Read more about me and my story on the about  page.

SPECIAL ORDERS- There are times that a customer would prefer a custom made knife of their own design. I am more than happy to accept your designs however, there are some limitations to making such a knife...here are some tips.

1.
How do I send you my design?
Contact me with a drawings, Jpegs, Scans, PDF. can be sent via email. Email me for a fax number.

2. How do I draw my design? The knife should fit in a 2 inch wide box. The easiest way to do this is to get graph paper and draw a rectangle  2" high x 11-14" long and draw your knife in the box. Most graph paper has 1/4 squares.

3.
How detailed should it be? Annotate Drawing (6 inch blade, 5 inch handle, 1/4 lanyard holes, Gimping Approx 1" long on top, Micarta handles- Black Linen, etc) Be specific on dimensions and alloy.  (5160 Steel, Blade -1/4 thick x 2" wide x 12" Long over all, 6" cutting edge) HERE'S A PICTURE OF A PROTOTYPE DESIGN

4. I need to know your fit and finish? Do you require a sheath? What kind? What color? Do you need a belt loop, strapping, Molle attachments? Handle materials? Mirror polish, satin polish, special coating?

5.
How big can I make it? Up to 2 inches wide. Up to 1/4 thick  and Up to 16" long is as far as I would go. Larger blades may require wider or thicker steels and will cost more.

6.
Can you make any design element I want?  NO, There are some limitations with a handmade knife than with a machine made. I will not be able to make some design features that you may want however, I may offer alternate solution to your design.

7. Why is a custom knife more expensive than store purchased? Custom knifes take longer to make and relatively more expensive than a large name manufactured ones however, your design was handcrafted by a master craftsman and that's where the values comes in. With proper care your knife will last generations.

8. Why do you need a copy of my ID? Most states require that you are 18 yld to purchase any knife. I will also need a confirmed address. In your state you will need to know if you are allowed specific features on your knife, for example New York and New Jersey laws do not allow double edged weapons such as a daggers.

 9. If you have any more questions you can email me
